Towards the end of an afternoon of painting, you know you have a little more to give in creativity, often the mood is lighter and your peace shifts to something a little more whimsical. Throughout the last year, feathers and gold have been a major player in my mixed media bag, I adore the feeling of being moved by a piece of work so much that you want to touch it. To delve further in and walk amongst the movement on the canvas.
If you suspend your thinking, get carried away and the mind quiets, the possibility of exploration stands beside you and for some moments, longer if you have the piece hanging close, then you have privacy, of many sorts. How restorative 😉
Colour me happy…Ruby.
